GODSOME! Faith Driven Activewear

(Founded on Faith in 2008)

GODSOME! stands for GOD + Awesome, which came from an instance when the founder of GODSOME! was journaling one day about his experience on Mission in Mexico in 2008.

He was trying to describe the feeling of when he knew God was near him while he was on the roof of one of the casas they were building for homeless family. As he was nailing down the rolled roofing, he felt the wind pick up and heard a silent voice within him, say “look up”. As he looked up and out over the dusty, barren, shack-scattered hillside, he heard the same silent voice say “be silent, look around, enjoy this moment”. As he looked up and enjoyed that moment, the hair on the back of his neck and arms stood up… he felt a lump in his throat, his eyes welled up and he wept in joyous tears. He was overwhelmed by that moment when God spoke to him, that moment when he experienced God’s silent voice and he physically responded to the silent voice of God.

At that very moment there was no word in his vocabulary that could describe what he had experienced. The word awesome didn’t even come close to explaining that God moment he experienced on top of that roof. Later that day he read a bible verse painted on the wall of the Mission he was volunteering at. “ But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8

It was at that exact moment when he read that verse he realized he had experienced the Holy Spirit come upon him up on that roof. He would later recall other life changing moments when he had called upon God and He answered. These experiences would become what he calls GODSOME! moments “when awesome won’t do…”

OUR MISSION

Our mission at GODSOME! is to glorify God by creating awareness of Christ and sharing our faith in God's grace and love. We create awareness in every GODSOME! design and donate a minimum of 10% of our sales to provide financial support to missionaries, ministries and athletes worldwide to help spread the gospel and create awareness of Christ.

Our Logo:

The GODSOME! logo has a capital G with the cross. The G stands for God and the cross stands for the crucifixion of his son Jesus Christ our savior.

Faith Driven Activewear :

Faith Driven Activewear - "Faith" came from living a Faith based lifestyle. Seeking God's guidance first and relying on our Faith in God to guide us in all that we do. "Driven" came from two peices of our life 1) driven to create awareness of Christ and 2) driven in competitive and extreme sports. "Activewear" came from all the active outdoor sports we participate in and all the clothing and apparel it takes to perform.

Definition:

GODSOME! - The feeling of when you know God is near you or present with you. That feeling you get when He speaks to you, directs you, when the Lord corrects you, or when He offers you a blessing, when you experience His love or grace. That feeling you get when HE SAVES YOU...When you get warm from the inside out, the hair on your neck or arms stands straight up, THAT FEELING, THAT MOMENT... IS GODSOME!
